Hook em Horns! haha! Kate decided she wanted a Hello Kitty umbrella from Blake for her birthday. I was so glad he found a cute one until she became obsessed with it and wanted it out and open every time it even looked like it might possibly rain!
Kate has been taking dance since last August from a friend of mine who used to dance/sing at the same studio where I danced. She absolutely loves it and was so excited about the recital! Grammy was able to stay in town for her spring break, so she also got to come watch! She was the first one on stage and so cute! Kate was not ready to get off the stage!
They were the cutest little ballerinas ever! I loved every second of it! She then got flowers from her adoring fan club!
Preston might have been the proudest of all. When he spotted her back stage, he couldnt quit yelling her name. They are so precious!
The next day, Preston woke up complaining of an ear ache. By the time we got to the dr, he had thrown up and was a pitiful little fellow. He ended up having a blister on his ear drum! Poor baby! He laid on the couch with me the entire day (so glad Grammy was here to help!). He got better the next day, but wasn’t really himself for a week. I dont like seeing my wild man down!
To get ready for Easter, we dyed some beautiful eggs!
Easter morning, I heard a little bunny in the den prior to 6 am. He had woken up and started the egg hunt without us! These are all the eggs he found on his own (he had dropped one under the couch!) We had to wake up sister, who was not happy at all to be up at that hour.
Looking at their basket goodies! Then Pres helped Kate find the rest of the eggs! We also made cinnabunnies for breakfast!
Because we were up so early, we had plenty of time for a photo session before church!
Preston was pooped out by the afternoon!
Low in the grave he lay, Jesus my Savior, waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!
Up from the grave he arose; with a mighty triumph o'er his foes;he arose a victor from the dark domain, and he lives forever, with his saints to reign. He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose! Vainly they watch his bed, Jesus my Savior, vainly they seal the dead, Jesus my Lord! Death cannot keep its prey, Jesus my Savior; he tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord!
