Because I am due one day before Preston’s real birthday, we decided to celebrate a month early. We had his party at Menagerie Farms and It Was Awesome! The set up is amazing, the kids were entertained the whole time, and all I had to do was provide cupcakes. Everyone went home sweaty and tired so I think that means it was a good little boy’s birthday party.
We started out with a photo session at home because I knew as soon as we got to the farm their attention would be elsewhere.
Turns out, Preston already had better things to do than a photo shoot with his mom and sister.
Kate gave me plenty to work with though! On our way to the farm!
Luke and I had a goat milking contest. Unfortunately for him, I worked at Happy Times for 10 years and am a goat milking pro. He mightve gotten squirted for his lack of skill.
Next we got to ride ponies!!! Then we got to feed the goats!
After that, we fed the fish in the pond, and then we did a little gold mining.
Each kid turned in their gold for a prize…a train whistle!!!
The last thing we did was eat! We had Preston’s Farm Friend cupcakes, Chicken Feed (chex mix), Farm Fresh Veggies, and cow and pig ice cream sandwiches for the adults! We wore this sweet (almost) 3 year old old!!! Such a perfect party!
