My dear friend Eden turned 30, & I was so excited to be able to help throw her party. We had an 80s theme, and we had a wonderful time! I wanted it to feel like a Boy-Girl party (you know, pizza, coke, rotel, black lights), and about the 3rd time I said that, Luke finally asked me what the heck a boy-girl party was. I tried to explain…you know, when you turn 13 and then you can finally invite boys to your parties, and there is music, not much dancing, and that one couple that makes out? Luke thought I was crazy, and then I realized they might not have those at private schools. Well, the big bad kids at GMS did, and I think my theme/feel of the party went well! We had yummy pizza, Stefanie made an awesome cake, and we rocked it out on Rockband!
We made everyone take awkward pics in front of the backdrop! I think I mustve taken the other half of the couples on Stef’s camera!

OH MY. I am laughing so hard right now and just read your entire post out loud to Caleb.
And for the record, I knew exactly what you meant by Boy-Girl party.
LOVE this...between this and Kate's b-day bash, you are setting high party planning standards! I totally knew what a boy-girl party is! :)
This is FANTASTIC! So bummed that we missed it, but well done! I know Eden must have felt, like, super-rad!
