It's almost the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

And that means it is time to pick out Christmas Cards!! One of my favorite things about the season is receiving Christmas cards. I also love the feeling of accomplishment when all of mine are stamped and addressed and we drive them to the post office! This year, shutterfly has an awesome assortment of cards. I love the black and white pic with the pretty colors...I am also a sucker for square cards!

Love this one with the multiple pic spots and the rainbow colors. We have really been into rainbow around here lately...that is another post though!

Whew! We sure know how to pack it all into one weekend, dont we?! We celebrated Preston’s 2nd Birthday Saturday night with a low key, family party. He is really into Mickey Mouse right now, so that is what we did! Because my fam is Disney obsessed, and Mickey is a popular theme, I was able to borrow some stuff to add to the decor. I combined several ideas from pinterest to make the invitations that I could hand deliver.

   

One of my favorite things of the night was that Kate sang Happy Birthday to Preston to every person that walked in the door! She was so excited for her little brother!

I made cookies and cream cupcakes from bakerella! They were delish!

I found these adorable cups at our Dollar General. Yes, they might be for Christmas, but I knew the kids would love having them for the holidays…and October kicks off the holiday season! The adults all had Mickey ears added to their cups.

My Dad made a pot of his famous chili…hence the “Goofy’s Chili”

We also had a hotdog bar!

Condiments for the hot dog bar and our Mickey silverware from Aunt Linda!

All of the precious glass figures you see were from when Luke’s family went to Disney World when he was younger. So special!My friend, Aundrea, let me borrow the adorable topiaries!

The Roberts were a family of Minnies and Mickey a couple of year’s ago, and she had this awesome backdrop that I knew would be perfect for a Mickey photobooth!

   

Everything was going great until Kate put Audrie in a headlock. Dont know why she didnt like it. Ha!

 

 

Ainsley busted away from the big girls!

I made this pinata out of boxes we had laying around the attic and tissue paper from my stash!Completely “green” fun!

He is very serious about his singing and candle blowing!

 

Meme and Bretty gave Preston a real hermit crab. Cant wait to be an aunt to her kids…wahaha (evil laugh!)

Papa Q and Ninabelle gave Preston a trike. He loved it…and so does Kate!
