Singing in the Rain

Kate sometimes has meltdowns around bed time, and tonight was no exception. I cant figure out a pattern,because sometimes she does and sometimes she is fine. Anyway...tonight after we talked about why she was so upset when she had had such a fun day, I left her room and the sky was orange. It looked like it was noon and it was 8 oclock at night. I got her out of bed, and we rocked for a while watching the rain on our front porch. She mentioned playing in the rain “next time” *(thats one of her favorite phrases!), and I told her to go for it!
She started out just letting it drip on her head…  
And then decided some full out sprints were in order!

Just singing in the rain,

What a glorious feeling,

I’m happy again!
