Perdido Key 2012

Get ready for a picture overload of my cutie patooties and the rest of the famdamily! We enjoyed a wonderful week on the beach in Perdido Key. We missed our beach last year because Luke was still in the TICU when we had to make the decision whether or not to go, and I think it might have made this trip that much sweeter! I am definitely a beach girl, so as soon as we almost hit the water, we rolled down the windows and breathed in that salty air. We unpacked the car and then headed to the water. Preston cracked us all up because he dove in head first-no fear whatsoever! It definitely had me worried for what he would do when we were actually in swim clothes!

Kate was a little more hesitant, but she soon joined the fun as well!          

  I am so thankful I have beach babies!

We have complained for years about my mom’s choice in the time of day for Christmas card pics. It is almost humorous how scrunched up our faces are!

I think she might be convinced that after dinner pics provide much better lighting.

One of Kate’s favorite things to do was open the Kate for us to get to the beach.  

We met some new friends on either side of us! They all loved K & P and played to let Mommy rest for a minute!

We left on Wednesday because Luke had barbri class the rest of the week. We hit West Point just in time for dinner at Anthony’s! It was as good as I remembered, and we got to tell our waiter how we went there on our first date. Awww!!
