Luke turned the big 3-0 on October 5, but we weren’t able to celebrate with a party until November 5. When I saw his favorite superhero from his childhood, Heman, over at Kara's Party Ideas, I used it as inspiration for his party with our small group. I had alot of fun researching Heman and it’s characters, quotes, etc on he-man.org, and we had a huge box of He-man stuff his parents had saved. (I learned that there are alotta grown men that still really love Heman!)
We had all of these Heman figures in our attic.
Megan made a delicious drink that she found on pinterest!
Heman had morals at the end of every show. Here were some of my favorites (and some of them are quote ridiculous!)
The appetizers!
Preston and Kate came for a bite, and then we shipped them down to Daddy Doc and Granny T’s for the night!
Singing Happy Birthday!
These boys birthdays were October 2,3,4, and 5! 3 of the 4 turned 30 this year!
Loving the pop ricks!
The candy stash at Castle Grayskull! I was able to use both of Luke’s castles in the decorations!
The food was delicious! My parents had it catered from Moe’s! and I think it was better than in the restaurant.
This picture cracks me up…see the creeper?
Of course, the cats on your world can't talk - and they probably wouldn't rip your lungs out, either. But still, putting mustard on the cat is a bad idea. You know, lots of boys and girls have been hurt - even killed -putting mustard where it didn't belong. Don't put mustard on the cat! If you're not sure you can handle it safely, ask your mom and dad to help. He-Man
