Thanksgiving and a wedding

We had a surprise of snow when we woke up one morning!
There is not much as fun as looking though the toy catalogs as they start coming in the mail!
The kids participated in a fashion show for an assisted living facility. We love doing this and getting to visit with the residents!
Sometimes Tooty's toddler face shows back through! haha!
We went to a family wedding and all of the kids made new best friends out of cousins!
Nana and Uncle Sam dancing!
There's always one that grabs two sparklers.
Uncle Sam and my Sam
We hosted Thanksgiving this year and Luke didnt disappoint with his delicious turkey!
The kids and I watched the parade and then took a prenap walk to get out of the house for a little while!
Perfection! That browning is butter!!
This was our whole group (minus Pres who was in the bottom left corner!) We missed the family that was missing, and we are so thankful for the ones that were there to share a meal in our new home!

Halloween and the rest of October

We ended October with a bang!
Birthday fun at the park

Sweet brothers

I drove the kids out to our old house one night after school to get some pics with the beautiful cotton! We had awesome family portraits done this summer by a talented friend, but I needed a one year old pic of Sam for our wall!

We joined forces with some other families at our church to have the best costumes ever. We were The Darlings as part of the Peter Pan theme.

I am so sad we were missing The Roses (pirates) and The Roberts (mermaids), but you get the general idea of how awesome we were.

This was my favorite part (besides the treasure map on Mr Darling). Peter and his shadow

The Darlings' Nursery complete with bed, Nana, and Tink.

Sam went to visit the other Lost Boys

On real Halloween, we had pumpkin pancakes!

We invited a few friends over who didnt have neighborhoods ideal for trick-or-treating. We know that feeling! We set up in the driveway with chili and other yummies and had an absolutely wonderful time! I think Luke is getting used to pulling up after work and being unable to park in the driveway due to a party happening there.

The Wendys

The rest of October was full of fun friends,

galas for The Forsaken Children,

loving Fall Break,

loving Memphis weather during Fall Break,

visiting with fun friends,

celebrating Luke's bday some more,

watching our backs because of , you know, ninjas,

going to Target once or twice,

and loving these girls!

I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.
